It is VERY hard to find fresh Scotch Bonnets where I live (Philadelphia) even though we have a number of West Indian markets. Habaneros are not at ALL the same ... plenty of heat, but without the subtle Apricot-like flavor of real Jamacian Scoth Bonnets. This stuff is the BEST way I know to get that authentic flavor (and plenty of HEAT as well !!) into my foods.
This is great to spice up even the best Boston Beach Jerk spice I get here. Try it in Chili and your friends will never guess your secret !!
